“My thinking doesn't feel as sharp.”

“I run out of energy faster.”

Activities that once felt easy can leave you unusually tired.

Other common concerns include: Recurring headaches Light or noise sensitivity Poor balance Sleep changes Difficulty concentrating

These symptoms can affect work, relationships, and everyday routines. Understanding what may be contributing to them is an important step toward finding appropriate care.

Let's Talk About My Symptoms

A concussion can affect more than you might expect.

A concussion can change how the brain processes information and coordinates movement, vision, balance, and attention.

That can help explain why symptoms sometimes appear during ordinary activities, such as reading, walking through a busy store, or working at a computer.

Why neurological function matters

CT and MRI scans help doctors evaluate certain structural problems, including injuries that may require urgent medical attention.

But a concussion doesn't always appear on routine imaging.

Other clinical assessments can provide additional information about functions such as eye movements, balance, coordination, and attention.

At Cerebral Health, we use neurological assessments to help understand how these systems are working and identify areas that may benefit from further attention.

The findings help guide clinical recommendations based on each patient's needs.

  3. 3PersonalizeUse the findings to help develop an individualized treatment plan when clinically appropriate.
  4. 4ReassessFor patients undergoing a treatment program, repeat testing after every 12 visits to evaluate changes against their baseline results.

Questions before getting started.

I recently had a concussion. Can I request a consultation?

Yes. You can contact Cerebral Health to discuss your concerns and whether a consultation is appropriate. If your injury is recent, prompt medical evaluation is important. Emergency symptoms after a head injury require immediate medical attention.

My scans were normal, but I still have symptoms. Can further testing help?

Possibly. Routine imaging evaluates certain structural concerns but doesn't measure every aspect of neurological function. A clinical evaluation can help determine whether additional testing is appropriate.

My concussion happened a long time ago. Is it too late to seek help?

You can still request a consultation. Symptoms can sometimes continue for weeks, months, or longer. Your history and current concerns can help guide recommendations.

I'm waiting to see a neurologist. Can I request a consultation now?

You can contact us while arranging specialist care. Our team can confirm referral requirements and discuss whether our services may be appropriate. A consultation here does not replace necessary specialist or emergency care.

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. There is no fee for the consultation. The NeuroRestoration Exam and any subsequent treatment are separate services, and applicable costs are discussed before proceeding.

Will I undergo testing during the free consultation?

The free consultation is intended to discuss your concerns and determine whether further evaluation is appropriate. Specialized neurological testing is a separate service.

Do you accept insurance?

Cerebral Health does not bill insurance directly. For eligible paid services, we can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement depends on your plan and is not guaranteed.

Do I need a referral?

Our team can confirm whether a referral is needed when arranging your consultation.

Can I request a consultation for someone else?

Yes. You may submit a request for a family member or someone you care for. Our team will help explain the appropriate next steps and consent requirements.
